Exceptional in every way - highly recommended!
This property has many wonderful features. We particularly enjoyed the heated pool, gallery/bar facility, treehouse and exceptional gardens and views. The host and staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and were very attentive to our needs. The art displays were an unexpected treat! The Guesthouse is very conveniently located with various attractions within walking distance - beaches, shops and restaurants. Exceptional hosts and staff who put in a great deal of effort to make our stay very memorable.

I arrived in Cape Town with a warm greeting from Simba, the driver for Oceangolf Guesthouse. The guesthouse accommodations were beautiful with breathtaking views of the ocean and lovely gardens. My room was spotless & I loved the comfortable bed and pillows. I was provided with clean towels daily. The guesthouse is a short walk to the beach and to several local restaurants. John, the owner and Simba went out of their way to ensure I had everything I needed. I have travelled the world and stayed in many guesthouses. This is by far my favourite place! I will definitely be returning to Oceangolf Guesthouse in the future with family and friends.

Excellent getaway. Clean room, beautiful scenery and feel one with nature. It was an awesome experience. Beautiful surroundings with sound of nature all around. The staff are very friendly and make you feel so welcome. Would recommend it highly to anyone who wants to get away from their busy lives.

29/01/20- Dear John, Thankyou for everything you did to make our family visit to Noordhoek so successful. Your thoughtfulness in arranging for the Boma apartment with table and suggesting we had the Quantum worked really well for the different needs of the family. We all had a wonderful time and they all from Alaric upwards enjoyed swimming and sunbathing round the Ocean Golf pool. It was difficult to persuade them to go to other Cape Town attractions! 07/01/20- It was great...We liked the environment the quietness and it was very peaceful. We came late but the owner treated us very good. The staff was very friendly when we ask them for some assistance. There is nothing that I ddnt like except a few spiders but it's understandable it's all part of nature.

05/01/20- We are a young couple, this place is the place to be! Amazing personal, amazing localisation, very nice garden and guesthouse ! John is a big boss amazing personality , he was really nice and accommodating ! When we arrive we have taken 1 night and each day we want to add one more night because the place is so clean, very chill and relax ... all was AWESOME ! 31/12/19- My husband and I booked while sat in a carpark frustrated with our previous choice of hotel. Arriving at Ocean Golf 20 mins later, after an extremely long drive cross country. Was welcomed at the gate with a very friendly voice over the intercom and then another warm welcome from host John. He very kindly gave us a bottle of wine, to save us from jumping in the car again. Was needed and appreciated? Sat enjoying the amazing views in the treetops. The room was bright and comfortable. We were also given a late check out til 12pm as our flight wasn’t until late afternoon. Would definitely stay again when visiting Cape Town. Thank you so much.

11/09/19- Wonderful jolly owner, John and his staff member Simba! They were so hospitable! The property is stunning! The room was cleaned spotless! They even thought 1 step further and left little single use milks in the fridge for our coffee and tea. Great value for money. I am extremely impressed and will definitely book here again. 09/11/19- We spent our 7th wedding anniversary at this beautiful oasis in Noordhoek. We were blown away by the beauty of the landscaped gardens. The grounds were immaculately clean. John & Louise were amazing. We were surprised by an upgrade to a larger apartment with the most stunning sea and mountain views and given lovely wine. We were truly spoilt! There was absolutely nothing to fault. All the comforts you would expect was there and then some.... and the bed was so comfortable. It was a very luxurious stay. Simba and the rest of the team were so friendly and attentive. The only disappointment was that we only stayed 1 night.

Hi Louise and John, we just want to say a huge thank you from our family. We really had a beautiful time and the kids really enjoyed the Easter egg hunt and so did we.. Lol.. I couldn't have asked for a better place.. A special thanks to Simba as well for being so gracious and kind in all aspects. We felt so at home that we didn't even want to leave. A BIG THANK YOU to all the team at Ocean Golf Apartments, Noordhoek. The rooms are beautifully & individually presented within fabulous gardens allowing for privacy within the establishment. The Manager Louise is a wonderfully thoughtful lady for whom nothing is too much trouble . In our case she managed to arrange an important medical appointment locally without fuss at very short notice. Her local knowledge and practical tips were both honest and accurate and we would trust her implicitly. Louise manages a highly effective operation, on behalf of the owner, supported by Simba & Irene who are always on hand to assist. What remains upmost in our minds are the SMILES on the faces of everybody concerned in the day to day running of the place. The Swimming Pool was clean, fresh towels were provided daily, the rooms were spotless & the gardens & views to the beach outstanding. THANK YOU for making our holiday.

Amazing stay! The staff were so friendly and helpful. The views were wonderful and it was a perfect location for where we wanted to go. The beach is so close + the Farm Village is lovely to pop over to for coffee, a meal, or ice cream. The bed was comfy, the Wifi worked perfectly (very helpful as an international traveler), and we couldn't have been more pleased with our stay! Highly recommend.

We love this place! it is so peaceful. The gardens are a delight, the pool is warm and well designed, and great for sunbathing! Even though the Guesthouse was completely full, we never saw the other guests, it is very cleverly laid out. We will come again!

Best guesthouse ever! The sea views are fabulous, 'specially from the Gazebo rondavel. The host is friendly and funny. We were often tempted to stay there all day because there was so much fun stuff to do - you can play pool, golf putting, croquet (with awesome 360' views ) table tennis, air hockey, table football, and all with a cool beer from a quaint bar full of interesting sports memorabilia. Plus a treehouse deck for sundowners.... and I havn't even mentioned the heated pool and gorgeous gardens. Thankyou John, Awesome.

We spent almost a week at Oceangolf at the end of our family holiday in South Africa and had a wonderful time. From the moment we were welcomed by John at Cape Town International Airport to the moment we were delivered to the airport on our way home we were treated like family. Nothing was too much trouble. Oceangolf is very well located in a quiet area, with plenty of places to eat nearby. We could have stayed much longer and felt that we had only scratched the surface. It was about a 30-40 minute drive to the centre of Cape Town, particularly exciting via the Chapman's Peak Drive which starts just a few hundred metres from the accommodation. The accommodation was very pleasant - the kids were particularly pleased with the tree house and satellite TV. (not in the tree house!). Booking accommodation over the Internet is a little worrying, but we had no problems and our stay was trouble-free and very relaxing. Oh yes, and the artwork in the rooms was stunning.

09/11/19- We spent our 7th wedding anniversary at this beautiful oasis in Noordhoek. We were blown away by the beauty of the landscaped gardens. The grounds were immaculately clean. John & Louise were amazing. We were surprised by an upgrade to a larger apartment with the most stunning sea and mountain views and given lovely wine. We were truly spoilt! There was absolutely nothing to fault. All the comforts you would expect was there and then some.... and the bed was so comfortable. It was a very luxurious stay. Simba and the rest of the team were so friendly and attentive. The only disappointment was that we only stayed 1 night.

Hi Louise and John, we just want to say a huge thank you from our family. We really had a beautiful time and the kids really enjoyed the Easter egg hunt and so did we.. Lol.. I couldn't have asked for a better place.. A special thanks to Simba as well for being so gracious and kind in all aspects. We felt so at home that we didn't even want to leave. A BIG THANK YOU to all the team at Ocean Golf Apartments, Noordhoek. The rooms are beautifully & individually presented within fabulous gardens allowing for privacy within the establishment. The Manager Louise is a wonderfully thoughtful lady for whom nothing is too much trouble . In our case she managed to arrange an important medical appointment locally without fuss at very short notice. Her local knowledge and practical tips were both honest and accurate and we would trust her implicitly. Louise manages a highly effective operation, on behalf of the owner, supported by Simba & Irene who are always on hand to assist. What remains upmost in our minds are the SMILES on the faces of everybody concerned in the day to day running of the place. The Swimming Pool was clean, fresh towels were provided daily, the rooms were spotless & the gardens & views to the beach outstanding. THANK YOU for making our holiday.

Amazing stay! The staff were so friendly and helpful. The views were wonderful and it was a perfect location for where we wanted to go. The beach is so close + the Farm Village is lovely to pop over to for coffee, a meal, or ice cream. The bed was comfy, the Wifi worked perfectly (very helpful as an international traveler), and we couldn't have been more pleased with our stay! Highly recommend.

We love this place! it is so peaceful. The gardens are a delight, the pool is warm and well designed, and great for sunbathing! Even though the Guesthouse was completely full, we never saw the other guests, it is very cleverly laid out. We will come again!

Best guesthouse ever! The sea views are fabulous, 'specially from the Gazebo rondavel. The host is friendly and funny. We were often tempted to stay there all day because there was so much fun stuff to do - you can play pool, golf putting, croquet (with awesome 360' views ) table tennis, air hockey, table football, and all with a cool beer from a quaint bar full of interesting sports memorabilia. Plus a treehouse deck for sundowners.... and I havn't even mentioned the heated pool and gorgeous gardens. Thankyou John, Awesome.

We spent almost a week at Oceangolf at the end of our family holiday in South Africa and had a wonderful time. From the moment we were welcomed by John at Cape Town International Airport to the moment we were delivered to the airport on our way home we were treated like family. Nothing was too much trouble. Oceangolf is very well located in a quiet area, with plenty of places to eat nearby. We could have stayed much longer and felt that we had only scratched the surface. It was about a 30-40 minute drive to the centre of Cape Town, particularly exciting via the Chapman's Peak Drive which starts just a few hundred metres from the accommodation. The accommodation was very pleasant - the kids were particularly pleased with the tree house and satellite TV. (not in the tree house!). Booking accommodation over the Internet is a little worrying, but we had no problems and our stay was trouble-free and very relaxing. Oh yes, and the artwork in the rooms was stunning.
